Notes:Originally from the Hamburg Cathedral, a piece of a polyptych of the Life of Mary, the mother of Jesus. This panel is notable for its direct representation of God passing on the spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and respect, as indicated in the second verse of Isaiah, chapter 11.
