RAA: Repertoire d’art et archaeologie (Bibliography of the History of Art)
Repertoire d’Art et d’Archeologie is a part of the Bibliography of the History of Art. SCOPE: A bilingual (English and French) database covering art and archaeology from 200 A.D. to the present. This database is commonly known as RAA. RAA omits Asian and primitive art, post-1940 works of art, and artists born after 1920. RAA includes bibliographic citations and abstracts of periodical articles, books, exhibition catalogs, Festschriften, and reports of Congresses. For materials published after 2007, see the International Bibliography of Art (IBA).

The primary index to articles in general periodicals, 1890-1982. Indexes popular magazines such as Atlantic Monthly, Century Magazine, Christian Century, Commonweal, Foreign Affairs, Fortnightly Review (London), Good Housekeeping, Harper’s, Ladies Home Journal, Literary Digest, The Nation, New Republic, Reader’s Digest, Saturday Evening Post, Saturday Review, Scribner’s, and Women’s Home Companion. Reaxys is a database combining the content of three major chemistry databases, Beilstein, Gmelin and Patent Chemistry Database. It includes chemical reactions, chemical substances and measured substance property data from selected core chemistry journals from 1771 forward and from selected organic chemistry patent publications. A web database, this information can be searched from any computer by Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff. Features include a synthesis planner and the ability to generate a structure query from a name. Reaxys Xcelerate Direct enables fast insights into the data as well as instantaneous synthesis planning.

It also has counts of Hispanic/Latino persons by race (63 categories) and not Hispanic/Latino persons by race (63 categories) for both the total population and the population 18 years and over. Data are presented for the 50 states and the District of Columbia in a hierarchical sequence down to the block level. Data also are provided for voting districts (e.g., election precincts) and state legislative districts where states have identified them for the Census Bureau. Data are also provided for Puerto Rico.

The American Theological Library Association’s ATLA Religion Database contains over one million bibliographic records covering the research literature of religion in 26 languages. It includes article citations from 650 journals, essay citations from 14,000 multi-author works, and book review citations. Coverage is from 1949 to the present. Included within the database is the ATLAS Full-Text Plus database which provides online full-text versions of a core collection of more than fifty significant scholarly periodicals in the field of religion. Citations for which a full-text article is available will include a URL linking the citation to the article.

The INVENTORY OF LATIN SERMONS OF THE MIDDLE AGES 1150 To 1350, edited by Professor J.B. Scheyer, was published in nine volumes (plus two volumes of indexes) between 1969 and 1990 in Beitrige zur Geschichte der Philosophie und Theologie des Mittelalters, vols 43.1-11 and has eversince become an indispensable reference work for the description of and the research into medieval Latin sermons. This CD-ROM extends the scope of the print product, relying on Professor Scheyer’s papers and archives, compiled for this product after his death.

Provides news and funding information for research in many academic disciplines. There are four main databases: News, Sponsors, Funding Opportunities, and Jobs. News aggregates all editions of Research Day and Research, though regional editions can be searched separately. Funding Opportunities and Sponsors provide full information about grants worldwide and may be searched by sponsor’s name, discipline, country and keyword. Funding Opportunities is updated daily; Sponsors is updated annually or as new information becomes available. The Funding Guidance section provides assistance for all stages of the grant process. Individuals can set up accounts to receive email News Alerts and Funding Alerts, customized by discipline code and self-selected keywords.

Revised Common Lectionary
The RCL is an ecumenical lectionary system developed by the North American Consultation on Common Texts (CCT) and the International English Language Liturgical Consultation (ELLC). It is based on the Roman Lectionary, Ordo Lectionum Missae. The CCT created a provisional lectionary in 1983, which many churches adopted on a trial basis. After receiving suggestions from those churches, the CCT published the Revised Common Lectionary for widespread use in 1992.
