Notes:This view is the Lamb of God resting on the throne, known as the "hodegetria." Below the throne is the scroll with the seven seas, emphasizing the imminent Judgment. The basilica hall was attached to a round temple that has been identified as the Temple of Jupiter Stator, which has been dated to the 3rd century BC.
