Title:Jesus' healing of the lame in the Temple
Notes:Painted screen sculpture in the niches in the north transept, depicting Jesus' healing of the lame in the Temple.

"As Jesus enters the temple, he rectifies the problem of the temple having become a 'den of robbers'. Moreover, immediately following the incident in the temple, Jesus heals the blind and the lame there. The close connection between the cleansing of the temple and the coming forward of the blind and the lame to Jesus in the cleansed temple seems to suggest that the sick, i.e., the outcast and the lost, are finally found, brought back to, and healed at the center of YHWH's covenantal community." (Chae, 320)
