| Notes: | Lord, coat me with strength and courage in this mission to be a mother. May I learn to smile in the face of the future. May I take pleasure in taking care of my children and don't let time slip through my fingers. May my speech be covered with your wisdom and with sincere love I teach them. Let it be clear that this is all grace, let me not be proud or judge others who are in trouble. Help me to live well and thus bless those who depend on me today. Amen.(praying with Proverbs 31)
Senhor, revista-me de força e coragem nessa missão de ser mãe. Que eu aprenda a sorrir diante do futuro. Que eu tenha prazer em cuidar dos meus filhos e não deixe o tempo escorrer pelos meus dedos. Que a minha fala seja coberta com a tua sabedoria e com amor sincero eu os ensine. Que fique claro que tudo isso é graça, que eu não me orgulhe ou julgue outras que estejam em apuros. Ajuda-me a viver bem e assim abençoar os que hoje dependem de mim. Amém. (orando com Provérbios 31)
Liz Valente is a liturgical artist, wife and mother of 4 children; she has a master's degree in architecture and urbanism and is a professor of drawing for training architects at higher education levels. She works on several artistic fronts, such as theatre, visual arts and music, having created the album “Pipa Amarela”, released in 2013. She has worked with teenagers and young people at the Presbyterian Church of Viçosa, where her husband serves as a pastor.
