On the tympanum (far back) is depicted a tall and nimbused figure of Christ of Parousia sitting on a throne in a circle of glory and flanked by angels carrying the instruments of Passion, notably one on the left carrying the cross. On the vault, the wall-arch (middle) depicts 12 angels and 12 apostles each in groups of four, while the second bay (foreground) illustrates several visions of Apocalypse Donated by James T. Womack and Anne Richardson, Nashville, TN. |
